Jen Bunney Is Now Married!

There must be something in the California air, or maybe it’s just that theHills cast are all at the marriage stage, as former Hillsie Jen Bunney joined Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port, Heidi Montag, Kristin Cavallari and theCity star Olivia Palermo in getting married.

Jen, who was nicknamed ‘Bunney’ on her stints during Laguna Beach and theHills, was first brought into the picture as one of Lauren’s childhood best friends.  That is, until Bunney broke girl code by hooking up with Lauren’s guy Brody on her birthday!

Lauren and Bunney’s friendship was dunzo, and that probably would’ve been the last viewers would see of her until Heidi and Bunney became friends.

It turns out that their friendship has actually stood the test of time, as Heidi and husband Spencer attended the wedding of Jen Bunney to Taylor Dunphy on Sunday, August 10, held at the Trump National Golf Club in Palos Verdes, California.

Heidi says, “It was the most beautiful wedding in every way. Every detail was perfect, elegant, and classic, just like Jen.  Jen and Taylor are truly soul mates. There are not two people who are more in love and destined for each other. Truly a divine match. I wish them all the blessings in the world and a long happy life together.”

The bride and groom posed for photos with Heidi and Spencer, Heidi wearing a full-length black gown with an embellished high neckline.  She wore her hair down, and flowing over one shoulder.

“Jen has been my best friend for years, we have been through so much together, she deserves her dream wedding and bliss, and she got it last night,” Heidi shared.

Whitney’s Wedding Style

Whitney Port is busy planning her Spring wedding to Tim Rosenman but until recently had yet to try on any wedding dresses!  The Bride-To-Be did a shoot with fashion blog Who What Wear last week, wearing gowns by J Mendel, Tory Birch, Reformation and Calvin Klein.

“I’m definitely a more modern bride.  I don’t feel like weddings need to be by the book,” Whitney shared.  “In terms of the dress, it is a fashion moment that I want also to be a reflection of my personal style esthetic—not what you’d see most brides wearing. My style philosophy: is be you, make your own rules.”

“I felt really sexy and comfortable in these looks,” Whitney says, “It wasn’t about following a tradition, it was about what makes you feel good in your own skin. I loved how relaxed most of the styles were. Comfort is key!”

Speaking of the beauty looks used on the shoot, Whitney said “My favorite beauty look was the blown-out hair and super natural makeup. I haven’t played around with my new haircut too much, so it was cool to see that it could be sort of ‘60s.”

“I originally had envisioned a Calvin Klein slip dress vibe, so the Reformation dress was fun to play with and see if I felt comfortable in that kind of look. I still don’t know, though! I could either go super relaxed and non-fussy or something really intricate and detailed—too many options!”

No matter what look Whitney eventually decides on for her big day, there’s no doubt the former star of theCity is loving the planning stages.  She explained, “I love being able to plan such a fun, love-filled event with my partner. It makes me so excited for our future, and is an awesome bonding experience.”

They’re Done

While her former co-stars on theHills Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad are preparing to marry their long-time boyfriends, Hills2City were sad to hear that Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan have broken up.

The couple first got together in 2009, but as Audrina herself described to US Weekly last summer, “We’ve been off and on for almost five years.  But we’ve been solid.”

Corey and Audrina had previously parted ways in March 2011, but soon were back together and weren’t shy in sharing their love via twitter and instagram.  Audrina has described Corey in the past as “the love of my life” and shared that they were heading toward marriage, but sadly it seems they couldn’t make things work.

A source close to Audrina spoke to US on Tuesday, July 29, explaining, “She’s single right now.”

Audrina kept herself busy while news of the break-up became public; the 1st Look host attended Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday, July 25, allowing make-up artists to transform her into Mystique from X-Men.

On Sunday, July 27, the newly single star partied with friends at Bootsy Bellows for Katy Perry’s stylist Johnny Wujek’s birthday celebration.  “She was having a great time hanging and celebrating with her friends,” a source told E! News. “She was not telling anyone about it and wasn’t giving any indication that it happened.”

Audrina also gave fans an indication of her mindset on Sunday, sharing her thoughts via twitter, “You can’t start the next chapter in your life if you keep re-reading the last one. #future #dreams #followyourheart”

Surprise: We Eloped!

While Lauren Conrad was in Mexico for her Bachelorette party and Whitney Port is still planning her wedding, Olivia Palermo surprised us all by getting married in secret!

Olivia married her partner of six and a half years, Johannes Huebl, in a civil ceremony on Saturday, June 28, in Bedford, New York.

The former star of theCity posted the photos above on her website, explaining, “We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends.  Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside.”

Another surprise was how casual Olivia was on her big day.  Hills2City didn’t expect her to be such a bohemian; maybe Olivia and Whitney have more in common than anyone thought?

Olivia wore a cream, long sleeve knit, white shorts and a tulle skirt, all by Carolina Herrera.  She chose cobalt-blue heels by Manolo Blahnik as her ‘something blue’, evoking memories of Carrie Bradshaw in the first Sex & The City movie.

The new Mrs Heubl wore her hair up in a messy ponytail and used natural shades for her makeup.  Olivia shared, “I wanted the make-up to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean.  My hair was in an uncontrived ponytail, one of my favorite personal looks.”

There were rumors that Olivia and Johannes has originally planned to be married in St Barts later this year, but moved the date because German-born Johannes faced some visa issues, and might have been forced to leave the US.  The couple have denied the rumors however; Olivia’s spokesperson Barbara Saint-Aime making the statement, “They had always planned to have a small civil wedding in June.  The whole visa thing is not relevant.  They have been together for six and a half years, they got engaged this past January.  They travel so much during the summer, they really don’t have much time to plan things.”

Barbara also stated that Olivia and Johannes planned to have a larger celebration later in the year, so all our designer-wedding-dreams are not totally dashed!

Congratulations Olivia and Johannes Huebl; Hills2City are so happy for you.

The Wedding Cake

Whitney Port and Tim Rosenman’s wedding might be just around the corner if the Bride-To-Be’s activities are anything to go by.

On Thursday, May 29, Whitney attended a cake decorating class at Duff’s Cakemix in West Hollywood.  She wore a peach colored lace dress, studded flat sandals and an open denim shirt.  Whitney has also recently had her hair cut into a much shorter shoulder-length style.

Hills2City are wondering if theCity star could be learning the skill to decorate her own wedding cake? Considering Whitney is a down-to-earth girl who spoke of a low key wedding, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise.

Further adding to our curiosity, Whitney posted the multicolored photo above to her Instagram on Thursday, May 28, with the caption,”Inspiration for cake decoration with @howyouglow @charmcitycakeswest #charmcityclasses @duff_goldman”

Whitney’s Wedding Weekend

While her fellow reality co-stars Lauren Conrad and Olivia Palermo are also engaged and planning weddings right now, something tells us Whitney Port’s wedding to Tim Rosenman is going to be a unique event.

Whitney and Tim, who are pictured here in New York City late last year are generally happy to stay behind-the-scenes.  Case in point, it’s hard to find many photos of them together!

The former star of theCity spoke to Brides magazine, revealing “We want to make it a full weekend celebration.  It’s just difficult finding a place that’s easy for everyone to get to and that won’t require our guests to spend a lot of money.”

Whitney shared that their main objective for the wedding is, “a fun environment for everyone.”

Tim is happy to let Whitney take the reins when it comes to most of the wedding plans, but he does have one stipulation, the bride-to-be says.  “Like one thing he wants is to make sure that there’s not a strict curfew where the party ends at 10, when it comes to design and décor, he will take a step back.”

So has Whitney found her dream dress yet?  She shares that she’s still looking, explaining, “It’s dependent on where the wedding is and what the dress looks like, but I don’t see myself going super glam.  I think less is more and I don’t want to worry about fixing my hair and makeup all night.”

Audrina And Coachella Are Made For Each Other

Along with her former co-star Whitney Port, and pretty much all of Young Hollywood, Audrina Patridge made her annual trip to Coachella in 2014.

Audrina brought her sister Casey Loza along for the first weekend of the music festival; the sisters going to the LED Day Club party at Hard Rock Palm Springs and the Details @ Midnight party.

The 1st Look host showed her hippy side, wearing a tie-dyed nude and chocolate brown maxi dress, accessorizing with flat studded sandals, multiple bracelets, large hoop earrings and oversize 70’s style sunglasses.

Whitney’s Wedding Gown

Bridal Fashion Week just took place in New York; it’s something that follows on from the Ready-To-Wear collections, giving women the chance to see what the new trends will be in bridal fashion.

This season Bridal fashion is particularly exciting to Hills2City, because of the upcoming weddings of Whitney Port and Tim Rosenman, Lauren Conrad and William Tell, and Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl!

Whitney spoke to People magazine this week, giving her take on her favorite bridal looks.  Starting from the Oscar de la Renta design of the eyelet bikini and maxi skirt on the left, Whitney says, “The idea of a beach wedding sounds so beautiful to me, so I loved this one.  I like that it’s very simple, but still delicate, and not the traditional wedding dress.”

The second dress Whitney loved from Bridal Fashion Week was this Vera Wang slip dress. She explains, “I’ve been toying with the idea of wearing a classic slip dress and this look is just simple and comfortable. You don’t have to worry about anything or the fuss of a big ball gown.”

Whitney’s third idea was a different spin on the slip dress, featuring a more risque look. “Another idea I considered was trying the see-through trend, where you can see the bra and panties underneath. I didn’t know if that was okay for a wedding, but this dress shows you can make the look tasteful.  Plus, it features a lot of sequins and beading — I’m a sucker for anything metallic or sequined!”

The Naeem Khan dress to the right is probably the most traditional of Whitney’s picks.  She shares, “I’ve also been toying with the idea of wearing a veil, and this one makes me feel like I want one. It’s such a beautiful, intricate accessory, especially if you have a very simple dress.”

As most of you are no doubt aware, this was the first weekend of Coachella 2014; of course the music is exciting, but we’ve been most excited to see what people are wearing.

Whitney Port is a long-time lover of the famous music festival, so it’s no surprise to see her out and about.  The soon-to-be-married star attended the Guess Hotel Pool Party in Palm Springs on Saturday, April 12.

Whitney wore a loose navy camisole which she tucked into a pair of navy and white checked shorts.  All the better to show off her amazing pins!  She accessorized with a cute pair of leopard print sneakers and round black sunglasses.

Also joining Whitney at the pool party were 90210 star Shenae Grimes, New Girl star Hannah Simone, Revenge star Ashley Madekwe and Hangover 2 star Jamie Chung.

Shenae’s boho style is perfect for a summer festival; the actress wore a white lace cropped top with a bikini top underneath, denim cut-offs and a dark floral kimono.  Shenae accessorized her look with black leather fringed loafers, tortoiseshell sunglasses and a black leather bag.

Whitney’s New Reality

Bride-to-be Whitney Port was out shopping in West Hollywood on Monday, March 31, shopping for homewares at West Elm.

The fashion designer wore a printed t-shirt, beige cardigan, skinny stonewash jeans and beige, studded ankle boots.

Although she hasn’t revealed everything about her wedding plans to X-Factor producer Tim Rosenman, Whitney has shared that the location is most likely not going to be either in LA or New York.  She explains, “Since I’m from here and Tim in from New York, we thought it made sense to meet on neutral grounds.”

Whitney continues,”He just wants everyone to have a really fun time and for it not to be too stuffy.”

She has also been speaking about her other love, fashion label Whitney Eve.  Talking to Refinery29 recently, Whitney shares, “It’s important to me to really have something for everyone in every collection.  While there is the 16-year-old who is going to wear some of our graphic tees and funkier prints, there’s the college girl who’s going to wear the moto jacket, there’s the girl out of college who is going to wear the cocktail dresses and blazers, and then there are women like my mom who will wear my sweaters and tracksuits! So, even though I want it to always feel fresh and current, I don’t want to put the line in a box and say it’s for any specific person.”

Although the former reality star hasn’t been on screen since her stint as a judge on Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model, Whitney is very happy working behind-the-scenes on her label.  She says, “In my opinion, I really feel like it’s bigger and better than ever,” she added. “It’s nice when something evolves, and you’re able to step back and feel proud of it.  I really think my biggest goal is having my collection on more and more girls. There’s nothing better for me than when I see girls wearing the pieces and making them their own.”
