The 2014 Teen Choice Awards were held last night, Sunday, August 10 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.  Hosted by Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, the big winners of the night were Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, One Direction, Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence.

It was a fantastic red carpet this year, and we had trouble choosing our best dressed!  Hills2City were immediately wowed by Glee star Lea Michele, who wore a black, white and pastel pannelled mini dress by Fausto Puglisi and silver strappy heels by Christian Louboutin.

Hostess with the mostess Sarah Hyland looked stunning on the red carpet, wearing a Marc Jacobs sequinned mini dress.  Sarah highlighted her gorgeous pins with a pair of black strappy heels and wore her hair in a high ponytail.

Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell wore one of the sexiest looks of the night, wearing a white lace two-piece look from Misha Collection.  The show won the award for Choice Drama and Shay won for best hair in our opinion!  She wore her hair in a loose side braid, which has become one of the hair styles of the summer.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians won the award for Choice TV Reality Show and it was Kylie Jenner’s 17th birthday, so it only seems right that the youngest Kardashian beat her sisters in the style stakes.

Kendall may be the model of the moment and Kim looked gorgeous, but in Hills2City’s opinion it was Kylie who really stood out.  She wore a cropped black top and gold skirt with an asymetrical hem by Sass & Bide, accessorizing with a pair of lace-up black heels.

The Hollywood Reporter held its annual celebration of women in Hollywood, with the Power 100: Women in Entertainment Breakfast, on Wednesday, December 7.  The event was well-attended by a real who’s-who of celebrities like Kate Bosworth, Lily Collins, Kris Jenner, Kirsten Dunst, Emmy Rossum, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Chelsea Handler, Bethenny Frankel, Viola Davis, Shailene Woodleyand Felicity Jones.

Although there was not a fashion-don’t to be seen among these ladies, it was Lily Collins who was one of our best dressed of the event.  Lily wore a royal blue lace dress, which looked at once vintage 1950’s yet also extremely modern.  She accessorized with a pair of snakeskin pumps and a cocktail ring.

Always on the best dressed lists, Kate Bosworth was our other favorite from the breakfast.  Kate drew comparisons to a young Lauren Bacall in this short sleeve neutral shirt dress, which she wore with a skinny belt.

Kate accessorized with a pair of maroon leather pumps and simple silver stud earrings.

Celebs Share their Body Peace Breakthroughs

In this clip presented by Seventeen magazine, young female celebrities share the physical features that at one point made them feel insecure.  Then they talk about how they overcame their respective insecurities and learned to deal with them.

Every seventeen year old girl and even adults could benefit from this video.  Particularly since people often make the mistake of thinking celebrities are perfect and consequently try to strive for some unattainable perfection.

For Whitney Port, her least favorite feature was an overall masculinity she felt in being taller than all the guys.  Whitney soon discovered that these awkward feelings were just a part of becoming a woman and coming into her own.  It wasn’t until last year that Whitney really became comfortable wearing high heels, and learned to embrace her height.

See the video for other celebs like Selena Gomez, Jordin Sparks, Shailene Woodley, Shenae Grimes, Katy Perry, Julianne Hough, and Annalyne McCord.
