Lauren Conrad is known for her long blonde hair, fans have been lusting after Lauren’s locks since her days on Laguna Beach.
So the fashion mogul was really playing with fire this week when she dyed her hair purple; Glamour magazine even name-checked Lauren as following the likes of Nicole Richie and Kelly Osbourne with the lilac hair trend of 2014!
Turns out things may not have been as they seemed, as Laurenrevealed on her website, “Happy April Fool’s Day everyone! I tricked you yesterday with a photoshopped snapshot of my mane. I’m not sure that I’m really ready for purple tresses yet!”
Hills2City love Lauren as a blonde, but we’re always up for an experiment. What do you think?
The weekly show will see Kristin and Orly joined by a panel of experts in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries, sharing the latest tips and products with viewers.
The Fabulistis part of E!’snew line-up, and premieres Monday, March 17. Showing that he leads a remarkably different life to his Kardashian step-siblings, Brody Jennerhas spent $1.9 million on a new home in Malibu, pictured above. Brody’snew house is close to older brother Brandon and his wife Leah’s house, as well as his newly-single Dad Bruce Jenner’sMalibu pad.
Brody’s new house is definitely more modest than Bruce’s $14,500 per month beachfront house, and at 1,517 square feet is a little smaller too.
Then again, Brody may not have those Kardashian pay checks coming in after Bruce and Kris’ recent separation, so he might need to be a little more thrify, as far as Hollywood standards go anyway.
With new hostLouise Roe, who made some appearances on theCity, the producers are hoping to “energize and surprise” more, Elle Macpherson said. “As executive producer of Fashion Star I’m really excited by our choice of Louise as host for the second season,” she added.
This season thirteen contestants are competing for the prize to launch a line to be sold at Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and Express. The show will air on Fridays. Friday’s are typically given to shows without much promise, on the other hand, there’s less competition on Fridays. So, guess we have to watch the ratings.
It’s time to kick off the first best dressed list of 2013, starting with the 70th Annual Golden Globes, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Sunday, January 13.
It’s no surprise Nicole Richie is on our list, having really kicked her red carpet appearances up a notch in 2012; this trend looks to continue this year too. Nicole wore a light blie lace Naeem Khan gown from the Spring 2013 collection, accessorizing with a black clutch from her own House of Harlow collection, H. Stern earrings and rings by Sylva & Cie, Elahn and Arunashi.
The mom-of-two finished her look with blue eyeshadow to compliment her dress, and wore her hair in Hollywood waves.
Megan Fox dazzled us in a Dolce & Gabbana nude strapless gown, with a fishtail hem. She styled the gown with Jimmy Choo heels, bright pink earrings and some to-die-for curls.
Megan scored highly on many of the best dressed lists on Sunday, looking absolutely sensational beside husband, Brian Austin Green, who was actually the one who picked out the dress for her.
Kate Hudson wore a gorgeous vamp-y black Alexander McQueen gown, with a small train. Kate accessorized with Jennifer Meyer jewelry, and wore her hair down in a slight wave.
We all know Kristin Cavallari welcomed baby son Camden Jack into the world this year. Next up for the ex-reality star is a new baby, her jewelry line!
Officially released in February 2013, Kristin’s jewelry collection is called ‘Kristin Cavallari for GLAMboutique.com’. The collection was designed in collaboration with jeweler Pascal Mouawad, who helped launch Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow label, which gives us high hopes for Kristin’s line.
Kristinspoke to E! on Monday, November 19, to share the details of her jewelry designing debut, saying “It represents my style. I like layered stackable pieces. I was very involved in creating it. I wouldn’t put my name on something unless I was.”
Pascal also spoke to E!, and nothing but positive words for his co-designer, “Kristin is an artist. [I was] very happy to work together to create a line.”
The price point for Kristin Cavallari for GLAMboutique.com is between $7 to $100, something that’s sure to make it even more attractive.
Kristin Cavallari has been a busy woman in New York City this past week. The new Mom hosted a fun Halloween costume competition on Friday, October 19, and followed that up with a charity event on Monday night, October 22.
The event was run by QVC and is their 19th annual FFANY Shoes on Sale, which gives guests the opportunity to shop for shoes at half the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, with the profits going to breast cancer research and education. And if you weren’t able to attend the sale? Well you can still help raise money by tuning into the QVClive broadcast on Wednesday, October 24, from 5-8 pm.
Kristin was looking her glamorous best while she shopped for charity, wearing a body-con black and white dress and black platform pumps. She wore her hair down in big Hollywood waves, and accessorized with a pair of round, diamond earrings.
Also at the QVC event was Nicole Richie, who looked stunning in a full-length red lace gown.
Designer and mom-of-two, Nicole Richie, is all about keeping herself busy. Last season we watched her as judge on NBC’s Fashion Star and recently we learned her passion for fashion reached not only to QVC but also Macy’s.
It’s almost about time Nicole joins the celeb fragrance collections. The Winter Kate designer is finally taking the next step and launching her first fragrance, called Nicole, which is a blend of orange, blackberry mixed with a bit of a vanilla and cashmere scents. The fragrance will be available for $69 this September.
