Yesterday we reported that Lindsay Lohan was officially a suspect in the alleged robbery of $100,000 worth of jewelry from a Hollywood Hills home. Today it’s been revealed that although the LAPD considered Lindsay and her Assistant Gavin Doyle to be suspects, the Los Angeles District Attorney has chosen not to press charges.
A rep from the District Attorney’s office spoke to TMZ, saying, “The District Attorney’s Office received no evidence that any jewelry, including watches, was taken. The evidence presented to us … was valued at $6,400 and included $3,000 in cash, four pairs of sunglasses, an iPod and keys to two cars and a house.”
TMZ say that “D.A.’s charge evaluation worksheet, there is insufficient evidence to bring a burglary charge against the actress.” It has also been revealed that Lindsay and Sam Magid, the home-owner, have had a “longstanding relationship.”
None of the alleged suspects were found in possession of the stolen property, and the “potential eyewitnesses have refused to become involved.”
It’s all good to hear, even if just for Lindsay’s career-comeback!

We would have thought that after her last legal drama, Lindsay Lohan would at least try to stay out of trouble, but now it seems she’s being accused of theft yet again!
On Sunday evening, August 19, Lindsay spent time at a friend’s place in the Hollywood Hills, where it was later reported that $100,00 of jewels were stolen.
At first Lindsay wasn’t considered to be involved, but today it’s being reported that investigators think that Lindsay and her assistant Gavin Doyle are their prime suspects.
TMZ have said that the owner of the house, Sam Magid has since recanted his complaint, yet the LAPD are constinuing its investigation. Lindsay is actually on informal probation from various past infractions, one of which includes her pleading no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace last year from a Venice jewelry store.
What do you think; has Lindsay been targeted unfairly because of her past? Or do you think she’s back to her old tricks?

The poster for Lovelace has just been released, and it’s interesting to note that despite the A-List cast, the poster features Amanda Seyfried alone. Is this a sign of what’s to come in Amanda’s career?
Obviously Amanda has been acting for quite a few years now, making her name alongside Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls, and recently starring with the likes of Justin Timberlake, Meryl Streep and Chloe Sevigny.
In fact, it was Lindsay herself who Amanda replaced in Lovelace, when Lindsay’s troubled history prevented her from being insured.
Lovelace is the story of infamous 1970’s porn-star-turned-women’s-activist Linda Lovelace, and also features James Franco as Hugh Hefner, Sarah Jessica Parker as Gloria Steinem and Sharon Stone as Dorothy Boreman.
It’s been reported that the other Linda Lovelace movie Inferno has hit several roadblocks. The Hollywood Reporter spoke to Inferno’s proposed star Malin Ackerman, who shared, “I don’t know what’s been going on, I don’t know why it hasn’t gone yet. I would hope and love for it to go, but now this other movie is coming on that Amanda Seyfried did, and I kind of feel like, ‘Shit, we should have been on that, we should have done it.”
After a wild time at Coachella a couple of weekends back, Lindsay Lohan was back in New York city, and looking a lot more lady like.
As it turns out, Lindsay was out for dinner with Director Woody Allen and his wife, Soon-Yi Previn, on Saturday night, May 5, at Phillippe Restaurant. TMZ report that this isn’t the first time the rather unlikely pair have dined. According to friends of Lindsay, she and Woody are “long-time friends and that he supports and respects the once-troubled actress”.
To her dinner with a million career possibilities, Lindsay wore a simple white dress, and covered up with a cornflower blue printed coat. She wore her red hair down and wavy and accessorized with a pair of drop earrings.
Having people in the industry like Woody Allen behind her gives Lindsay a huge amount of credibility. Let’s hope she doesn’t wreck her 10 millionth chance, and really does make that comeback.
Fast taking over from Lindsay Lohan as Young Hollywood’s biggest hot mess, Amanda Bynes is in trouble again. One month after getting arrested for a DOI and side-swiping a police car, Amanda reportedly side-swiped another car on Friday, May 4, with her black Range Rover in Los Angeles and continued to drive away.
According to the police, Amanda may not even know she hit the other car. Los Angeles Police Officer Sargent Ben Zucker spoke to People magazine about the incident, saying, “At 4:25 p.m., we were notified of a possible hit-and-run.” He added, “the caller followed Miss Bynes for a short distance to a gas station. It turned out the damage to the pick-up truck was so minor that it was very plausible she had no idea that she hit anyone.”
Luckily for Amanda, she walked away from the incident with no charges, and the LAPD report that there was no indication this time that the actress was intoxicated.

Lindsay Lohan is currently filming her first role since her probation ended, a guest role on Glee as a Judge at Nationals.
The formerly-troubled star looked pretty fantastic; we must say we approve of Lindsay’s return to her redhead roots. On Wednesday, April 25, she wore a black and white printed maxi dress and a pair of black oversize sunglasses.
Lindsay also showed us she isn’t completely vice-free, by the cigarette in her hand. There was also an issue with Lindsay’s time-keeping, as co-star Dot Marie Jones tweeted on the day, “Gonna be a long day!! Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things. Not cool! I’d rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late!” Dot later deleted the tweet.
It’s not exactly Lindsay’s first time being late to set; her Georgia Rule Director Garry Marshall famously penned a leaked memo pertaining to the matter. He spoke to Entertainment Tonight recently about the incident, saying “Lindsay was having some trouble in her life and getting to the set. She said [of the memo], ‘It’s all over, what should I do?’ I said, ‘What we’re doing is making a movie, so the first thing you need to do is say something apologetic to the crew and the other actors,’ and she made a beautiful speech to everybody there.”
Garry added, “We got along well, and I wish her the best — and she’s coming back. I think. I hope.”

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner ended Lindsay Lohan’s probation on Thursday, March 29 in Los Angeles, California. Judge Sautner had imposed a series of strict probation requirements including cleanup duty at a local morgue and counseling sessions last year. Satisfied that Lindsay had met all the requirements by Thursday’s deadline, Judge Sautner lifted her probation thereby bringing an end to four years of legal woes after a 2007 drink driving arrest.
The ecstatic actress thanked Judge Sautner, she said, “I just want to say thank you for being fair. It’s really opened a lot of doors for me.” Lindsay was seen letting out a sigh of relief as she exited the courtroom after the brief hearing.
Judge Sautner advised the problem-prone Lindsay, “You need to live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work.” Lindsay’s spokesman, Steve Honig, told the press, “Lindsay is ending one chapter and starting the next,” he said. “She is very eager to get back on set and dive into her next few projects.”
Lindsay remains on informal probation until May 2014 for taking a necklace without permission last year.

With a career as high profile as Emma Watson’s, her first role after Harry Potter needed to be a good one. It’s been revealed that as well as starring in indie movies like The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Your Voice in My Head and Beauty and the Beast, Emma’s next role will be in Sofia Coppola’s new movie, The Bling Ring.
The Bling Ring is based on the celebrity robberies that took place in 2009, committed by a bunch of teenagers who were nicknamed “The Burgler Bunch” and “The Bling Ring”. The crew targeted young Hollywood celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Audrina Patridge.
It’s being reported that Emma will play one of the six thieves, who stole $3 million from the celebrities. We can’t wait to see The Bling Ring, especially considering its star and Director. Sofia Coppola is sure to put her indie spin on one of the most interesting crimes in the past few years.

Anne Hathaway and Lindsay Lohan don’t exactly spring to mind as having much in common, but the Devil Wears Prada star insists that she can really relate to Lindsay.
“Lindsay Lohan and I have more in common than people think. We’ve all done things we shouldn’t. It is just that I did stuff at college when nobody knew about it, so I’m not a saint. I wasted time doing self-destructive things. I found you can only dance on so many table tops. I got all that out of my system and I am healthy and grounded.”
Anne went on to explain that it was her Mom who was a great grounding influence, saying “My mother, Kate McCauley, taught me to be always understanding of other people — and to have a sense of humor about yourself. Mom has also encouraged me not to be one of those people who worry about weight. I know when people refer to me as a ‘regular’ girl, that it is a code word for ‘fat’ in Hollywood. It is completely understandable, as a teenager, to fret about your body. It is scary, because you don’t know how it is going to end up. But I am not a teenager any more and my body has chosen its shape. I would rather be strong than skinny.”
How grounded and lovely does Anne sound? Maybe there’s hope for La Lohan yet!

She may not have the scandalous life of someone like Lindsay Lohan, but we wouldn’t call Emma Watson boring.
The actress herself has, however, during a new interview with French Elle magazine. Emma says, “My problem is that I am a little bit boring. I don’t wear designer bags or big sunglasses. When I don’t have to play Emma Watson in public, I’d rather not put myself ‘out there’. I have to be more careful with my look in my everyday life.”
To be honest, this part of her personality is most likely one of the reasons Emma is so beloved. Most of us grew up with her in the Harry Potter movies, discovering our own personal style alongside the actress. Of course Emma had the assistance of celebrity stylists and friends like Karl Lagerfeld, but she still retains the image of an “every girl”.
