Wednesday, October 12, Kristin Cavallari was looking quite stylish while running errands in West Hollywood. She wore a slouchy black blazer, black silk top and a printed maxi skirt with an uneven hem. Kristin accessorized with a pair of gladiator style heels, oversize sunglasses and her staple Alexander Wang leather bag.

A similar outfit follows so you can achieve Kristin’s look without the massive pricetag.  This outfit would be perfect for an afternoon lunch with your girlfriends, and both the blazer and top could be worn with a pair of skinny jeans for a seperate outfit.

The high low hem skirt is a trend that you can expect to see a lot of soon, it is also known as the “mullet” skirt. We picked out one in a neutral cream colour from inlovewithfashion.com ($64). Instead of having a print on the bottom we found a printed sleeveless blouse from topshop.com ($20). You can never go wrong with a black blazer and we found an affordable one at forever21.com ($40). To finish off the outfit grab a pair of strappy gladiator heels from heels.com ($100), and don’t forget to accessorize with an oversized handbag, sunglasses and a long silver necklace.

Last week style icon Lauren Conrad was spotted out on the town heading to Mercato di Vetro in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 6. LC was wearing an all black ensemble while meeting friends for dinner.

Lauren looked great wearing black liquid Serena leggings from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection. She paired them with a black sheer blouse and a pair of black pumps. A perfect outfit for a September night out with some friends.

A similar outfit follows so you can add these pieces to your wardrobe without breaking the bank. Each of these pieces can be worn together or with other items making them super versatile and a must have for every girls wardrobe.

We picked a pair black shiny leggings that have a zip feature at the ankle from charlotterousse.com ($17) as well as an oversized black sheer blouse from topshop.com ($75). To keep the outfit looking classic we stuck with a black French Connection pump from asos.com ($120). Lauren is almost always seen with her quilted black Chanel purse so we picked a quilted clutch from yesstyle.com ($31) that still looks cute and you won’t have to sell you car to buy it. Wear your hair down straight or with a slight wave like LC and your all set for a fun night out!

City gal Whitney Port was seen leaving a salon in Beverly Hills, California on Wednesday, September 28.

Although Whitney tends to take her fashion outside of the norm and pushes boundaries, she stuck to the basics here looking both stylish and casual, and she looks great!

A similar outfit follows so you can add these pieces to your wardrobe without spending your whole months salary. Each of these separates could be worn together or with other items making them super versatile for any season.

We picked a pair of light black distressed skinny jeans from pacsun.com ($105) as well as an oversized white racer bank tank from shopnastygal.com ($29). To add some color to the outfit we selected a pair of red tassel loafers from topshop.com ($47). Whitney generally keeps her accessories low key so we picked a satchel which could be worn day or night and is also from shopnastygal.com. Don’t forget the red nail polish either; this is a basic that every girl should have in their makeup cabinet. It does wonders for any outfit and can surprisingly take a colorless outfit from drab to fab.

Socialite and fashionista Olivia Palermo attended the Topshop Unique Spring Summer 2012 Show at The Old Waterloo Rail Terminal on Sunday, September 18.

Although Olivia always seems to look stylish we loved her outfit more then usual for this event. She went for a 70’s boho style pairing a flowing maxi skirt with a tailored blazer. She accessorized with a trendy floppy hat, open toed suede booties and a chain necklace. Olivia always dresses as though the outfit was put together so effortlessly but it’s always so well put together.

A similar outfit follows so you can add these pieces to your wardrobe without breaking the bank. Each of these seperates could be worn together or with other items making them super versatile for fall.

We picked a three-quarter sleeve blazer ($28) and a printed maxi skirt ($18) both from Forever21.com. To spice this outfit up a bit we selected a stylish floppy black hat ($19) from oldnavy.com, a Matt & Nat Ginger clutch ($60) from zappos.com, and a Bead And Caps Collar necklace from TopShop. To complete the outfit we chose a pair of Charlotte Ronson Kurt Open Toe Canvas Booties which are on sale for $70 at shopbop.com.

During Fashion Week in New York City Audrina Patridge made an appearance at the Badgley Mischka show on Monday, September 13. She wore a simple but stunning black strapless dress paired with a statement necklace and a pair of gladiator wedges. This look is perfect for any event and a little black dress is a classic piece that every wardrobe needs.

To recreate Audrina’s look we picked out a black strapless dress from revolveclothing.com ($45) and picked out two pairs of shoes you could choose from depending on the occasion, one is a black closed toe wedge with stitching details made by Jeffrey Campbell ($220) and the other is a simple black gladiator sandal from heels.com ($74). City girl Whitney Port has been keeping busy this past week checking out the latest designs during New York City’s Fashion Week. One of our favourite outfits was what she wore to the Rebecca Taylor show on September 9, 2011. Whitney looked effortlessly chic wearing a light striped sweater and a printed skirt. She took a risk by mixing prints and she kept her color palette monochromatic by wearing greys and blacks.

To duplicate Whitney’s look without breaking the bank Sparkle & Fade has a grey and black striped tee for sale at Urban Outfitters for only $15 and you can pick up a stretchy leopard skirt at Bluefly for under $50. We picked a pair of Barbara Bui Metallic Strappy Sandals ($445) that are similar in style to the one’s Whitney was wearing that evening. To accessorize this look you can buy a simple colorblock chain necklace from Forever21 ($11) and the Michael Kors Hamilton ($155) cross body bag would complete this outfit perfectly and is a great basic to have in your closet.

Fashion Fauxfile [AnnaLynne McCord]

AnnaLynne in NYC
Who knew all it took for AnnaLynne to impress us fashion-wise was a trip to New York City?  We’ve received questions about AL’s look and we were instantly bowled over by the NYC style ourselves so we thought we’d fauxfile it up for you.
Over-the-knee boots have turned from a trend to a classic the past couple of years.  We found these gorgeous boots from Mimi Loves Jimi, for only $100.  Another wardrobe stand-by is a simple black tank like this one from Erin Kleinberg.

AnnaLynne’s olive green blazer is a great example of understated cool.  Try this J-Crew blazer for $165 from net-a-porter.com  These skinny grey jeans from Topshop will be a great buy too.
The other accessories apart from the boots might be easy to leave out at first glance, but honestly this outfit is really brought to life by the accessories AnnaLynne chose. Try this snakeskin belt by Ann Taylor ($38), this printed cashmere scarf from All Saints ($120) and this leather tote bag by Zhanga ($157).

Fashion Fauxfile: Kristin Cavallari

Spring Floral Kristin

Newly-engaged Kristin Cavallari’s sense of style has blossomed over the past year.  We’re not sure if she’s hired a new stylist or has simply grown up a little, but Kristin’s floral dress is a great example of Spring inspiration and carefree style.

We found this strapless, floral dress at Modcloth for only $50.  The fabric is quite retro but the style is modern and very Kristin.

Accessorize with great basics like these white strappy heels by Promise for $53 and this white clutch with a wooden frame, by Melie Bianco at Piperlime, for $64. To keep in the spirit of her recent relationship news, Kristin was wearing a cute ‘love’ necklace.  We found this one from UK store Debenhams for approximately $50.

Fashion Fauxfile: Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum Party

Heidi Klum was your Best Dressed from the 2011 Kids Choice Awards, so we tracked down her stylish summery look.

The key piece is obviously the black shortsleeve mini dress.  We couldn’t find an exact match, but this plain black mini dress will prove to be very versatile.  It costs $178 and is by Duskin.

Since we chose a plain black dress, we also decided to add this feature necklace by Jennifer Loiselle to really give the look some impact.

To complete the outfit, we recommend these strappy, black, wedge heels for $140 at Topshop and this gorgeous black lips clutch bag from Lulu Guinness.

Fashion Fauxfile: Whitney Port

Nylon Whitney

Whitney looked so good at the Nylon party that she inspired us to start shopping right away!

The stand-out item from Whit’s outfit is definitely the black tulle/lacey skirt.  We found this one for $29 from ROI DE ROME.

Whitney is wearing a soft grey marbled tank but we loved this one By Malene Birger. Malene is a Danish designer who also happens to be the ambassador to UNICEF Denmark.  Every season she designs a special tee (this is one of them) where all the proceeds are donated to children in need.  Whitney has a big heart, so we know she would approve.

Whit is wearing a blue & silver bracelet, but this black leather sparkled cuff from Banana Republic really caught our eye.  Plus, for $45 you can’t go wrong.  In the same mindset, these black leather t-bar heels aren’t the same as Whitney’s, but we absolutely love them.  A t-bar style heel always lengthens the legs and the peep toe is perfect to show off your new season pedi.  These heels are from Fergie Shoes and are only $89.
