Kristin’s Fabulist Tips For Spring

Kristin Cavallari’s new show The Fabulist premiered on E! a couple of weeks ago; hopefully you’ve been tuning in to hear Kristin and co-host Orly Shani’s take on the upcoming trends.

Hot on the promotion trail, Kristin and Orly are sharing a few of their favorite Spring Trends:

What is your favorite fashion trend of the spring?

Kristin: White on white is a huge trend for spring, which I think is so classic and clean.

Orly: I love pencil skirts and crop tops. It’s been all over the place for the last few months and won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. You can also take old bodycon dresses and chop it in half — now you have a perfectly matched pencil and crop top!

What is the boldest beauty trend of the season?

Kristin: I love orange lips right now, if done correctly. I think they look great with bronzey makeup.

What is your favorite accessory trend?

Kristin: Buckles are a great trend, and I think everyone can pull them off. They look great on shoes and purses.

What is the hippest drink of the moment?

Kristin: Boxed wine is a big trend, which I think is hilarious and fun.

Orly: There are new drinks like Kombucha that you can get at your local market now, instead of stopping by a specialty health food store. It’s readily accessible — expensive, but accessible.

Foodie trend?

Kristin: Bone marrow. I haven’t actually tried it yet, but I want to. It’s suppose to be really good for you and taste great.

Orly: I love how we’re getting more obsessive with what goes in our food. It’s allowed all these natural and organic food companies to pop up.

Favorite place to travel?

Kristin: I love Mykonos, and it’s a very trendy spot right now. It’s one of my favorite places.

What is your best travel tip?

Orly: This isn’t a sexy trend, but with the amount that I travel right now, it’s my favorite — TSA Pre! This allows you to get pre-approved and whiz right through security. It’s genius and I’m all over it.

How does your background in fashion help you host the show?

Kristin: I’ve picked up great tips from top hair and makeup artists over the years so I’m hoping to bring that to the table.

Orly: Trying to build Tuc+Wes [her fashion line] for all these years really gives me an appreciation for the brands that can break through the noise. There is so much competition out there and when we feature something on the show, whether I love it or not, I admire their ability to stand apart from the rest.
