The 2014 Golden Globe awards were held in Los Angeles, California, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, on Sunday, January 12.  The big winners on the night were American Hustle, Breaking Bad, Behind The Candelabra, House of Cards, Ray Donovan and Blue Jasmine.

Hills2City’s best dressed for the night had to begin with Taylor Swift in Carolina Herrera.  The Golden Globe nominee, for her song Sweeter Than Fiction from One Chance, went for an Old-Hollywood vibe, wearing her hair in loose curls and focussing her make-up using red lipstick.

Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts’ show American Horror Story: Coven didn’t win its category, although Behind The Candelabra was a hard one to beat.  Emma was a winner for her red carpet gown for Hills2City however; this black Lanvin gown was a particular favorite.

Emma, who is newly engaged to her American Horror Story: Coven co-star Evan Peters, let her gown be the focus, wearing her hair slicked back and accessorizing with turquoise earrings and a black clutch bag.

amy adams

American Hustle star Amy Adams wore a beautiful two-tone halter dress by Valentino, that was very much in line with the 1970’s era her nominated film was set in.  Amy wore her hair up in french braids and accessorized with delicate silver jewelry.

Amy, who won the Best Performance By An Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical award, also shared her tips for wearing such a gown with E! on the red carpet, saying,  “Good posture and very kind castmembers who give you a little wink if you’re showing too much.”

Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis may not have a film nominated in this awards season, but the actress and Globes presenter wow-ed the red carpet in Gucci for the 2014 Golden Globes.  Ashton Kutcher’s lady love wore a metallic grey gown by Gucci Premiere, and accessorized with a Gemfields emerald bangle and earrings.
