A Tale Of Two Camdens

Kristin Cavallari stepped out with her baby son in Chicago, on Thursday, September 13. Although Kristin only gave birth on Wednesday, August 8, the new Mom is almost back to her pre-pregnancy shape; which she highlighted with a black t-shirt dress.

Fans of Kristin will know that the former star of theHills named her son Camden Jack, and now it seems like she’s sparked a trend in Hollywood baby names.  Vanessa Lachey gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday, September 12, who she and husband Nick named Camden John!

Camden, which is an inner-city suburb of London, isn’t exactly a common name, and it seemed like the copycats Nick and Vanessa annoyed Kristin with their choice of the name, as she tweeted “Apparently Camden is a popular name!”

Perhaps realizing it could be taken out of context, Kristin then followed up with another tweet, saying, “By the way that wasn’t a bitchy tweet at all… I obviously love the name and I’m glad other people do too.”

Vanessa had told People Magazine back in July that she and Nick had settled on a name for their baby, but weren’t revealing the specifics until he was born.  She shared, “I tell everybody we’ve been yelling it around the house. Nick and I love it.”

So what do you think, was it a coincidence or did Nick and Vanessa purposely copy Kristin and Jay?

As much as I love Kristen, she really needs to get over herself with this one. She didn’t create the name so has no place thinking she ‘owns’ it.
