Rooney Mara is this year’s Mila Kunis; pretty much unknown until her current big hit, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. 

Not only has Rooney been nominated for an Oscar for her breakout role, now comes the news that she’s replacing Blake Lively in the upcoming Steven Soderbergh movie Side Effects.  

We’re unclear as to why Blake needed to be replaced, but it could be something to do with Blake’s star power compared to Rooney’s?  Of course Blake is front and center in our minds right now because of Gossip Girl and her relationship with Ryan Reynolds, but her turn in last years Green Lantern probably hasn’t done her career any favors.

Rooney joins Jude Law, Channing Tatum, and Catherine Zeta Jones in the Side Effects cast.  She plays a woman who becomes addicted to prescription drugs and has an affair with Jude Law’s character.

Kristen Stewart isn’t particularly known for her fashion-sense or even for having an interest in fashion.  However, things could be about to change for the Twilight star.

Kristen is currently in Paris, and took part in a photo shoot with Karl Lagerfeld himself for an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair magazine!  Karl has of course taken many a Hollywood starlet under his wing, transforming them into it-girls and fashion superstars.

As well as being the head designer of Chanel, Karl is well-known for his photography skills, so we’re very excited to see the results of his shoot with Kristen.

Since announcing her pregnancy, Kristin Cavallari has cemented her position as a paparazzi darling.

Last week the former star of theHills was promoting eos Strawberry Sorbet Lip Balm in LA, the company no doubt using Kristin’s press momentum to their advantage.

Kristin looked gorgeous for the shoot, wearing a grey silk tank, yellow pants and patent nude heels.  She accessorized with a nude skinny belt and a simple gold bangle.

The star of theCity has been seen with her Kate Spade Bow Bridge Kennedy satchel with a variety of outfits, proving that the classics never go out of style.  Whitney also shows that a classic accessory such as the satchel can work with more of an eclectic look; the key being to tie it in with either color or texture.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler were spotted preparing to board an outbound flight at LAX airport on Sunday, January 29. The eagle-eyed among us will notice Kristin is clutching a copy of the baby bible, ‘What To Expect The First Year.’

Meanwhile, Kristin and Jay will be waiting until after the baby is born to have their wedding. An insider told the press, “She is going to work all the way through [her pregnancy] doing photo shoots,” and will be back in pre-pregnancy shape before she says “I Do.”

It’s no secret that Lauren Conrad has joined the eco-friendly brigade. EcoRazzi has reported that Lauren has teamed up with the sustainable company BlueAvocado to design a line of eco-friendly accessories. Lauren released a statement saying there is nothing more stylish than protecting the earth, she announced, “The BlueAvocado partnership represents a synergy of things I love to do—design great products, enable women to realize their dreams, and inspire thoughtful action….” She continued, “Once you realize the responsibility we have to improve our environment in our lifetime, you feel compelled to act with urgency. BlueAvocado provides a canvas for me to invite change.”

According to BlueAvocado, the line will launch this summer and it will consist of “stylish prints and new lifestyle products including reusable lunch, shopping, hydration, home storage, travel and cosmetic accessories.”

It seems half of the celebrity sphere is twittering 24/7 these days. Seriously, what did celebrities do in their spare time before Twitter was launched? Drugs and home wrecking probably. It was only a matter of time before they began profiting off their tweets and New York Magazine has named the biggest earners. The list below includes some of the famous names and how much money they make by tweeting business ads:

• Kim Kardashian: $10,000, for companies like ShoeDazzle.com and CVS.
• Snoop Dogg: $8,000 per tweet.
• Paula Abdul: $5,000 per tweet.
• Whitney Port: $2,500 per tweet.
• Charlie Sheen: $50,000 per tweet, for companies like Internships.com.

Those poor celebs, having to make money by any means possible. The indignity of pretending to like tweeting their fans for a quick buck. The electricty bill for that 20,000 sq ft mansion won’t pay itself. Our heart bleeds for them.

This week’s Look Of The Week comes care of mama-to-be Kristin Cavallari, who takes out the title for the second time in a week.  2012 is certainly proving to be the ex-Hillsie’s year so far.

Kristin was relaxing after a gym session in Hollywood on Tuesday, January 24.  She’s being a good role model for all the pregnant ladies out there; it’s supposed to be great to exercise gently throughout your pregnancy.

The almost-Mrs-Cutler wore a black leather jacket, striped long sleeve tee, black leggings and knee-high motorcycle boots.  She wore her hair back in a ponytail, black wayfarers and that engagement ring.

Fashion Contributor:

Description:  We’re looking for a fashionista who is also good with their pen.  The fashion contributor knows how to put a good outfit together and loves to tell the world about it.

Qualifications:  A good fashion sense.

Lifestyle Contributor:

Description:  Responsible for writing lifestyle pieces on topics including relationships, fitness, health, but mainly relationships.  This individual will also answer reader questions in blog posts with the editor’s guidance.

Qualifications:  Are you the one always giving advice to friends?  Do you love talking about hot issues?  If so, and if you have a strong work ethic and are a team player, this internship position is for you!

Social Network Specialist:

Description:  Responsible for engaging with Twitter followers and Facebook fans by corresponding with them.  Some possibilities include tweeting followers during reality TV show episodes.  Grow social network following.  Come up with ideas on how to expand the social media presence.

Qualifications:  The ideal candidate will enjoy working with social media and be familiar with the major outlets, specifically, Twitter and Facebook.   The contributor will also have a strong work ethic, and be a self-starter and team player.

Reality TV Contributor:

Description: Responsible for recapping episodes of the most popular reality shows and keeping up with all the buzz surrounding the show.  Comes up with creative ideas for stories.
