The 2011 Awards season culminated last night with one of the best displays of red carpet fashion we’ve seen in a long time. Hollywood’s elite really delivered last night, giving us a fantastic amount of glamour to revel in.
One of our favorites was presenter Reese Witherspoon, who wore an elegant black and white gown by Armani Prive. We’re big fans of Reese’s hair and makeup, which evoke a 1960′s Julie Christie feeling. Reese is a star who never disappoints on the red carpet. She never looks sleazy or cheap but manages to pull of classy and stylish with the best of them.
Another favorite of Hills2City was Black Swan star Mila Kunis, who wore a lilac gown by Elie Saab. Mila’s gown was very much lingerie-inspired which is not surprising considering two big trends of the upcoming season are sheer and lace. The lilac shade really suited Mila’s coloring and the lightness of the fabric just seemed to carry her down the red carpet on a cloud. We wished Mila was smiling more to match her light and airy dress, but she definitely made up for that later when presenting an award with Justin Timberlake.
Our final choice for Best Dressed this year was last year’s Best Actress winner, Sandra Bullock. Not only was Sandra hilarious while she presented the Best Actor award, but she looked fantastically glamorous in a gown designed by Vera Wang. The regal red and old-Hollywood style of Sandra’s gown, along with the diamond jewelry, made us swoon at first glance.
With James Franco looking high and Anne Hathaway just being overall annoying, it was nice to see the wonderful fashions. Who do you think was Best Dressed at this years Oscars? Vote below.
