Olivia’s always up for an opportunity to mix charity and red carpet fashion.  Last night was one of those nights when Olivia attended the DKMS 4th Annual Gala: Linked Against Leukemia in New York City, April 29th.

Olivia appeared at the event held at Cipriani 42nd Street in a one shoulder white dress with a black and grey bottom.  Olivia was not the only City star there, although Olivia didn’t socialize with Whitney and Roxy Olin at the event.  But Olivia hasn’t bad mouthed her ELLE boss, Joe Zee, so she and Zee are able to pose on the Red Carpet together.

In fact, Whitney recently addressed the tension between she and Olivia after Olivia snubbed her clothing line.  Whitney says, ”I was not so surprised by that. Olivia and I have never really been the best of friends. You know, at the time, yes, I was a little bit hurt because it wouldn’t have really taken that much for her to interview me for elle.com, and as a “journalist” or whatever she is for the magazine, your opinion doesn’t really matter.”

Undaunted by the fashionable and pretty elephant in the room, Whitney and Roxy seemed to have a good time themselves.

We challenge you to find the woman who wears the top knot better than Whit.  Whitney always looks regal when she wears a high bun and evening gown.  But looking at Whitney and Roxy together is a bit much because there is a lot going on in both of their dresses!

But we do love their friendship, which Whitney recently discussed with InStyle telling the site what keeps them so close despite their occasional fights onscreen.

Whitney tells, “She’s my partner in crime. We also live together and are best friends. We step on each other’s toes a little bit, but because we’ve known each other since high school, we try not [to] let the show affect our friendship. We just get it. We talk things out and communicate well.”

Also asked which designers inspire her the most, Whitney revealed, “Valentino, Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney. I just think they all have a specific image and viewpoint and are not afraid to take chances. They allow their designs to speak for themselves. They’re really cutting edge. Even Valentino—in his day in age, he brought on a whole new aspect [of] glamour.”
