As we have heard, Lauren Conrad is making her first book, L.A. Candy, into a film. Even though the book is loosely based on Lauren Conrad and her old cast-mates from theHills, they can’t have the reality stars play their designated roles in the actual film. So, who will it be?

For Jane, I thought Blake Lively would be a good choice. While still being absolutely gorgeous, she has a very wholesome and innocent look and she can pull of the Southern California girl. Blake can definitely play the eager and enthusiastic Jane who gets more than she bargained for after joining L.A. Candy. (She also resembles Lauren a little bit too…)

As for Scarlett, I thought Sophia Bush would be a good fit. She has the looks and also has the brains. Like Scarlett, Sophia can go from the hot girl who has one night stands she doesn’t remember to the college freshman interested in philosophy.

Madison and Gaby were a little trickier. I chose Megan Fox for Madison and Taylor Swift for Gaby. Megan Fox has played the spoiled little rich girl before – she’s beautiful with a touch of evil – perfect for Madison. And even though Taylor Swift is not really an actress, I can see her playing the naive sidekick Gaby.

At first when I thought about Braden, I immediately thought of Penn Badgley. But then I remembered Blake is playing Jane, and we wouldn’t want another rendition of Gossip Girl. So then I thought about Shia LaBeouf. He’s cute but quirky at the same time – I could totally see him trying to be a Sci-Fi actor. (He was in Transformers…). And that leaves Jesse, who came to me first. I see Jesse as Robert Pattinson – the heart throb actor with the drug addiction past who falls for the homely new girl.

We are all very excited to see who the producers pick for each of the roles. But most importantly, who do you think could play each character?
